Translation of the above post: parasites carried by cats feces might contribute to IMPAIRED IMMUNITY during or after pregnancy. Well why doesn't every cat owner or offspring come down with scz? That, of coarse, is not the right question. If it is only a contributing factor they will never be able to prove causation.
With the combination of physical factors contributing to scz the only cure will come from a breakthrough in improving overall immunity. Meanwhile IF you have the means it is possible to find Certified Clinical Nutritionists or physicians who, with common saliva and urine tests, are able to identify lingering infections, hormone deficiencies (not just thyroid), possible malabsorbtion, and slowly treat this thing called bipolar and scz with anti psych meds (not as the main course of treatment) and nutraceuticals(as the primary). The actual primary ingredient is motivation and the ability to FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS.
Orthomolecular doctors, of coarse, attempt the same thing but high doses of niacin and IV high dose vitamins, IMO, do not work in the majority of cases. |
