Hey pat1967,
I have severe anxiety problems and the clonazepam (check your spelling..lol) really helps.
I take 1mg in the morning, 1mg in the late afternoon and 1mg in the evening. It really helps my anxiety and for me there are absolutely no side effects, believe it or not.

According to my prescription bottle the correct over the counter spelling is: clonazepam (in response to Pat 1967's post-where he was corrected by the administrator).For me, I found when I first had to learn how to spell this drug correctly was to memorize the easy part first: CLONA, then followed by the ZE and the by PAM (just like the cooking oil). So for me it became CLONA-ZE-PAM. I don't know what the pharmaceutical company name is, but who cares?

But Clonazepam is too sedating for me. It also causes me to go into a hypno trancelike state. So I'm weaning down to 0.125 mg a night now and keeping the 1 mg of ativan twice daily.
