On birthday, last Tuesday, Cath and I drove to New Hampshire to see the psychologist and nutritionist named Dr. Ken Emonds. I was listing all my symptoms to my nutritionist, and as I finished, the last thing I complained of was that my feet smell. He said, as he has said for years, "You have to stop drinking milk." Of course, after his counsel of years, I don't drink milk, but I do put a lot of half'n'half in coffee. Ken Emonds himself uses soy milk, and he asked if I had tried soy milk in my coffee. I said I tried Vanilla Soy Milk in my coffee, and it was horrible. Dr Emonds said to try the plain soy milk. I asked him if there was anything besides Yogurt that I could eat from cow's milk, and he guessed, and then tested and affirmed, that I could eat the bacteria cheeses, that is, Mozzarella, Romano, and Parmesan Cheese. He says the bacteria breaks down the offending molecule. On Thursday I went to the grocery store, and I bought some Mozzarella and some soy milk. I mean, put your education to use I argue; I certainly paid enough to have the nutritionist evaluate me! Well, yeah, I can cut a cube of Mozzarella and have a slice just like I did with all the other chesses. And I can drink my coffee with soy milk. Neither are easy, however. I don't really a lot like the coffee this way, and I drink about one quarter of my coffee out anyway. So how's that going to work? Do you think I should just learn to drink coffee black? After all, I learned to drink it without sugar . . . Jayster |

Dear Cards,
Nice to see your post, Dear.
I'm afraid each year Dr. Emonds' practice is made up of a smaller proportion of the mentally ill. The people who most rave about him are the Cancer survivors and HIV survivors.
I am grateful to be a patient of Ken Emonds!

I went to a Dr. Ken Emonds back in the early 1990s. I am from CT and have been trying to track Dr. Emonds down; unfortunaley, over the course of these past years, I forgot the name of the institution he was with in the Boston, MA area and I am desperatly trying to find him again for a friend who is in desperate need of his genius. Dr. Emonds saved my life too!
I would be so grateful for any information and/or confirmation that we are talking about the same man.
Many thanks, Elsa |
