I was put on ritalin when I was about 9 or 10 years old in fact most of the kids in my class we're on it, if they weren't on that they we're on something else and I'm not sure what that might have been because at recess and at lunch I just remember everybody going to get their ritalin, but maybe some took something else I don't know. I guess they had to find a way without corporal punishment to disciplin children and if they couldn't do it physically they would do it mentally. When I got in highschool I found a lot of people we're using various different medications to deal with depression,anxiety,adhd etc and I myself was given prozac at the age of 14. That was the first time I was hospitalized, before I was 16 I think I took at least 8-10 different meds, though the ones of the benzodiazopine class I found to be most effective they we're also the hardest to get off of, have a long life in the blood and tends to accumulate. I was given both typical and atypical anti-psychotics and the worst side effects we're so bad that I would shake uncontrollably, my eyes would twitch, my heart would beat erratically and the most positive effects I had we're probably when all I wanted to do was either lye in bed or eat voraciously. During hospitalizations there we're many times I felt my rights we're being violated and I was basically told in a modern nice kinda way to shutup and do as I was told. I was given forced injections and locked in a room. I may not be normal as defined in society's dictionary. They hate freespirited types who don't think like they do. I am not a bottle of beer I do not need a label. I may have been wrong when I said that since the mental hospital I was in was paid for with peoples taxes and people with jobs pay taxes therefore jobs are for a**holes but that's also the kind of thing that I thought was funny and when you're depressed laughter is the best medicine. I don't see a doctor,a politician,a judge or the queen of england being any better than myself, so I will not kiss their feet or think of them as a godlike individual. I have chosen to self medicate because I am more trusting of myself who is doing it to aleviate my symptoms then a doctor who is doing it to further his career and get that new yacht he always wanted.  |

| Jane is sorry if she offended anyone you see her eyes and ears take in things in an unadulterated way, she likes observational humor and also telling people off. She is walking talking should be "uncontroverial proof" that the system of routine which uses very little intelligent judgement does not work. She sometimes laughs at cattle for their position in the foodchain and the futility of their lives in general. She was born a freespirit and will die a freespirit, will always overcome diversity to the best of her abilities and will try her best to come out laughing. She does not find anything about catch-22's to be amusing rather she thinks they are the work of the severely mentally retarded who have managed to rise to power. Jane is sorry if she has offended again. Jane likes to speak her mind. Jane does not usally speak in the 3rd person. |

You sound like you are very young. It is pretentious to a degree to discuss oneself in the third person.

I hope you find it easy to stay a free spirit. I sometimes described myself that way, in youth, only to discover that I was a slave to my impulses. Nothing free about it at all.

Jane...I didnt get at all, that you were being pretentious. I found your post interesting, if not all that clear. You still around Jane?
