I'd been ill since Oct 2003, but didn't get on Clozapine untill a year later. The other antip's (atypicals) only seemed to sedate me. I'm now on 275mg of Clozapine a day and the changes were miraculous! All anxiety and stress has disappeared, my world somehow shrank to something very manageable, I exercise and have hobbies now rather than sleeping on the couch all day. I do have to sleep a long time overnight, but my days are enjoyable now! I'm optimistic now and also enjoying the benefits of great supplements.
These are high dose Omega 3's (EPA+DHA) @ 11.5g per day, Acai, Trans-Resveratrol (gives me physical energy, Omega 6. The fish oils have given me energy, motivation and an even more improved outlook, plus benefits on my joints, stopped my back pain and improved my health. I can't recommend fish oils enough. They gave me the motivation to get back to Cardio training, and that in turn has paid many dividens to my life. I'm able to help my mother when she gets stuck with cleaning, sort my house and garden out and generally feel better about myself.
If you can't get Clozapine, the fish oils are a distant second best. But they are impressive @ these doses none-the-less!!

HI AS.,
May I be one of the first to welcome you aboard the good ship Hope.. I notice you sharing across the boards; I find that most heartwarming for there is no where you can't travel here without a visa lol
I apologize for not discussing what you post here but then I am not schizophrenic so it would be irresponsible for me to comment on what I don't have personal experience of.
Yours in community friendship, David

Thank you very much! I do a lot of postings on Schizophrenia.com's discussion boards if anyone is interested. If you suffer from Schiz, it's the best place I've found on the internet for information, support and friendship.
