at least it does for me, and it's expensive in Canada because it's not covered by our health care. ugh. I think I need a medication adjustment to deal with the anxiety. I thought at first it was just pregnancy related because my wife is due but lately and especially today it feels like something more medication related. I don't have any complaints about this drug except the anxiety it's pretty bad.

Hello Chris,
I know Abilify is very expensive here in the states when you don't have insurance like me, but I get mine for free because my state department of health services assists me by applying through by the pharmaceutical company's medicine assistance program.
Here's the information for Abilify, which I have posted in the Bipolar General Topic section:
Bristol-Myers Squibb Patient Assistance Foundation, Inc. Abilify Patient Assistance Program PO Box 8309 Somerville, NJ 08876 Phone: 800-736-0003 Fax: 866-598-5561
Thanks Judy but since I live in Canada if the government won't cover it then that's that. I'm sure it will get covered one day but until then I have to pay. I'm lucky though, I have family who help out with that. I'm glad to hear you can get yours free in Jersey.
Herc, yah I'm on Clonazapam but lately I'm not sure I'm on enough of it I have to talk to my doctor about that.
My anxiety is much worse since I went on abilify. It didn't occur to me that it might be med related. I thought it was because the meds weren't working.
