Thanks, chelle25. It wasn't a straightforward recovery process once I got off the clonapepam. At first it was rocky, and I still suffer from anxiety at night but overall I think it went well, and I'm glad about the decrease in medications. Thanks for your support.
My anxiety has come back. It is mild at the present but there nevertheless. It occurs mostly when I worry about a male friend calling me or an anxiety about a earthquake which I cannot control but am worried about. Has anyone found help for their anxieties besides exercise and medication?
Good news fleurette! Benzos are only meant to be taken infrequently and you now have quit your addiction. This shows stregth of character on your part. I occasionally take valium for anxiety, but it has to be quite occasional.

Thanks Jonathan, I just wished that there was some other way to ward of anxieties. I will try praying and telling my heavenly father about my anxieties and see if He'll make them less severe or delete them from my life. I believe He can.
As of the last 6 weeks, I haven't had any anxiety. What I get is an uncomfortable feeling. It requires the intake of one Ativan then it gets better within 2 hours. This seems to be an improvement over having anxiety. When I get rid of this, I will be a lot better.
