Hey guys, I found that taking every day as it comes along and not thinking about the future too much is also a good idea. I think that this is close to doing things in little increments. That's a really good idea - to set up small goals that are achievable and not waste your time on bigger, more unmanageable goals. Cindy |

Yes. Small goals are like taking one step at a time. Huge goals are like doing it all in one big jump. If your goal is to write a book, for example, don't spend the day worrying about writing the book, spend the day writing a chapter, a paragraph, some notes. If it becomes a book someday, great. if not, you'll have a lot of work to show for it and it'll make you feel as if you CAN achieve something, when you see all those little daily goals add up.

Hi guys, I am glad you found my ideas helpful. I am currently working as an assistant to the manager in one medium sized hotel in Crete Greece. I have no problem whatsoever, although the job is stressful and sometimes I find it hard to deal with chain requests from the clients. I made new friends here (never told them about my desease). I am a bit sad for having to take medication still. I am wel though and that is important. I hope you all are having a nice time away from thinking about the desease. Be more active, get a job, a new boyfriend/girlfriend, get on with it. Lets face it, with the drugs we are all 'normal' so why not lead a 'normal' life? kisses Penny |
