My diet the last 10 days has been abysmal. Part of the problem is I have been dealing with Jackie's problems and visiting her in hospital that I have had much less time to shop and cook. Before Jackie was cooking for me twice a week or so as well. I've been missing out on Breakfast always a crucial mistake, and eating lots of burgers and pizzas and chips. I am eating myself into an early grave.

I can't completely blame Jackie's ill health for my own bad eating habits, my own eating habits have been getting gradually worse over the past year since I stopped seeing the dietician. I've put most of the weight I lost back on. I've got into all sorts of bad habits again, though a few good habits remain like my bagette sandwich and orange juice for lunch.

The cook Jamie Oliver says its always a mistake to do a grocery shopping without a shopping list. I've got to get into the habit of making a shopping before I go grocery shopping.
