Dear Friends, Some of you will remember that I promised to do more exercising. I don't know why it is so hard to accomplish this goal! I did weakly try to get two lawn mowing jobs. And, when I do my cleaning jobs, I do them quite energetically. Anyway, this early morn when I was about to shower, I did do 16 push ups, as is my usual. I also did 12 sit ups. I had stopped doing sit ups because, although I can do 20, they hurt so much, and it doesn't feel like a "good" pain. Therefore, I at least did what I can do without the bad pain. So, that's what I have been doing to try to be more healthy. That, and I purposefully eat a fruit or vegetable once in awhile. Wish I could report more success. Jayster |

Hi Jayster. I think that you're doing an awesome job with your attitude change about keeping yourself healthy. I don't think that you should feel bad about what you're accomplishing. We all can do better. What's important is that you realize the importance of exercising and eating properly, although you could improve, but so can we all. I'm in the middle of not exercising yet, but I am slowly learning to eat properly. You see, I used to have an eating disorder. I managed to get better, but I still vomit once in a while. Anyhoo, I think that as long you recognize that you want to get better health, you're on the right path. I have to start on my treadmill again. It's so hard during the summer though - it's so hot that I don't feel like getting sweaty. However, I don't think that that is an excuse. Cindy |
