Hi Greek, just be honest with yourself and your psychologist. Improvement happens when you're open with yourself. I tell my pdoc everything. If I have a problem that I think my good doctor can help me with, then I'm going to say it. My advice to you is to take the good advice along with the bad. You know yourself best after all. Let us know how it goes. Love, Cindy |

I too am seeing a new psychologist, and was also nervous about it for the first 2 weeks.. but as Cindy said, honesty is best. I think you will find that when you are honest, everything turns out better. If you hold back, you could risk being mis-diagnosed and put on medication that is not suited for your true condition. Also, being honest helps you to feel better about your sessions, where as bottling things up can make you feel worse.
