I notice there aren't many entries here. I think I know why but I just want to make some suggestions. I have big troubles with the pills as do many, many people. http://www.schizophrenia.com/treatments.php#glycine
I would say ignore the electro"stimulation".
I have bought a magnetic pillow from [commercial endorsement deleted by administrator]. (Whoever you buy from they should mention a DR. Philpott, and his work on magnets.) I bought the insert towards the end of my warp while only taking low dose Seriquel. It broke soon after. I do not credit the pillow, but who knows. The pillow I bought costs $90.00.
If you are used to taking pills this is not going to sound like a good idea. Can I trust them? Are they crooks? Don't like the idea of using magnets on the head...etc. Bottom line NO SIDE EFFECTS for me and for the people in the Korean and Australian research. They are useful in reducing auditory hallucinations. They are using TCM which involves a wire to different areas on the surface of the head.
The glycine and Alpha Lipoic Acid and the Vit. C/E make sense to me along with the omega 3. A GOOD probiotic-not easy to find-is good for that "second brain" know as the digestive track. (Before my attack I had a tremendous digestive disruption)
These are "passive" methods. They involve expense but no effort just like the pills but w/o the side effects. |
