My brother has schizophrenia. He has been living with my parents since he has been diagnosed for the past 2 years. My parents have helped him progress in a lot of ways. However, I think he is stuck in some of his old habits. He refuses to take medication at times, and he has shown some violent tendencies so my parents are fearful to discipline him. He desperatly needs help in a new way. I want to find some type of housing for him. I have no idea where to start.
many state mental health hospitals can help / referals w/ housing. look up mental healthe providers in ur local phone book. call pschye facilities and they can help.
