I also feel the SAD :'seasonal affective disorder.....' ; )
None of us really know what will bring humanity to its knees.
Keep your head high up, don't be downcast, don't bring us down like that, trust the element of doubt that all is Good, and all will turn out for the positive... that this chaotic world will be saved. ; )
I recommend you to see the 'chess game scene' of the Film Kingdom of Heaven.
As it says in the film (spoiler) 'none of us know our end, really.....'
You must carry on, mate.
If I take your quote from its roots - do not unto others as you would have suffered yourself - you are, also, bringing us down - would you wish to do that to us? O.K. It is good that you want us to know you are in a 'downer' phase, but what I want you to understand is that Life is beautiful, no matter how much it tends to get us down....and believe me - I've been down to the dregs, and I had no 'Jackie' there for me.......no consolation - just the emptiness of the abyss, and I had to pull myself through and rescue myself out of the dreary emptiness......I had nothing, and brought myself out of this same 'nothing.' Believe me - there must be some Higher Force out there that releases us from 'SAD.'
I wish you all the best.
Remember - if your donations to NGO's have been 'noticed,' you deserve a high rank in esteem and humanity. The world needs compassionate people like you (and your cats).
