Heng claimed that Diablo Immortal's advancement systems and build options are much less limiting than Diablo in this regard which could be misleading players seeking an old-fashioned Diablo experience. This creates a large choice of customizable options particularly when coupled with the Torchlight Infinite talent system and the real benefits of equipment. Players will be able to trade and sell equipment with each other in the system Heng described as a "duty-free" and "player-made marketplace."
